REMOTE SENSING PLATFORM FOR ELECTRICAL SUBSTATIONS
Neuron is a 21st century IoT platform for collection and delivery of real-time performance and condition data from any device or sensor in the substation to any server or service provider on-premise or in the cloud.
REAL-TIME FIELD DATA COLLECTION MADE EASY

UNIVERSAL SENSOR INTERFACE
Neuron supports multiple secure terrestrial and wireless interfaces to enable easy connectivity with any sensor or system in the substation. Popular instruments like DGA, Top & Bottom Moisture & Temperature sensors, Partial Discharge sensors, Bushing Monitors, Pressure sensors, Load CTs and fixed or hand-held Thermal Imaging cameras can all be easily integrated into a seamless and secure sensory network.
OUT-OF-BOX COMPATIBILITY
Neuron supports all common substation sensors and devices including DGA monitors by Kelman, Morgan-Schaffer/Doble, Qualitrol and LumaSense, plus bushing and breaker monitors from Doble and Qualitrol, and a large number of handheld and fixed thermal imaging cameras and analog sensors to measure load, voltage pressure and more.
MULTI-MODE MULTI-PATH COMMUNICATIONS
Any sensor or system in the substation can utilize Neurons multi-mode multi-path network services to store and transmit critical real-time sensor data to enterprise or cloud-based storage and analytics services.
DISTRIBUTED STORAGE / CENTRALIZED ACCESS
Neuron may be configured with up to 512GB of solid-state storage for raw sensor data, surveillance video and radiometric images from thermal measurement cameras. Neuron can store-and-forward all sensor data, or it can intelligently extract key measurements from the raw sensor data and transmit only engineering values. This preserves critical high-resolution data for engineering or security purposes while minimizing network traffic. Al data collected and stored by Neuron is synchronized and time-stamped across all sensor readings allowing for highly accurate correlation of multi-sensor data across numerous devices and sensors.
